She has served on the PRCA Council, been vice-chairman of the PRCA Travel and Tourism Group and is a regular judge for the PRCA Dare and PR Week Awards. She has sat on the advisory committee of the Travel Media Awards since its inception.

Kate has worked in the travel and tourism sector for over 15 years. She has developed and managed many award-winning campaigns for tourist boards, airlines and other travel & tourism related businesses.

Travmedia’s PR Professional of the year 2024, Kate heads up the company’s specialist LATAM division for Latin American and Spanish-speaking markets.

Kate has extensive experience in both B2C and B2C comms, issues management and stakeholder engagement.

With a specialism in sustainable and responsible tourism Kate directs ESG strategy and advises clients on responsible tourism best practice.

Kate is a trustee and active volunteer for the LATA Foundation; a charity supporting grassroots projects in Latin America; she speaks fluent Spanish and has lived in Granada, Barcelona, and Santiago, Chile. She is an accredited practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR status).
